Aircraft Twirls Out of Control into Palm Groves at Popular California Beach
A helicopter flying over a popular California shoreline suddenly began spiraling uncontrollably, eventually losing altitude and crashing into a row of palm trees as beachgoers watched.
Videos uploaded online capture the chopper commencing to spiral over Huntington Beach then descending in the direction of the border of the coast, where it ends up lodged amidst palms and a set of stairs adjacent to the shoreline route.
Rescue Operation Details
Emergency responders stated five persons were rushed to the hospital comprising two who were in the helicopter and were “rescued from the debris” following the crash on that day.
Three individuals on the pavement were harmed. Information on their condition were not yet released.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
